Dr. Kenneth Hohmeier, faculty member of UT Health Science Center College of Pharmacy Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Translational Science, has been named to the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of American Pharmacist Association (JAPhA). The three-year term will commence with the APhA Annual meeting in March. Founded in 1912, JAPhA is the official journal of the American Pharmacists Association and publishes peer-reviewed content on pharmacy-related topics to improve medication use and health outcomes, inform health care policies, and advance pharmacist-provided services.
The Editorial Advisory Board of JAPhA is the core group of peer reviewers responsible for providing advice on Journal policy and procedures. EAB members are invited to attend virtual meetings held in the spring and fall to provide comments and input about the Journal. EAB members aslo serve as ambassadors for the Journal to authors and readers.
