Chris Wilson (P4-Nashville), recently presented his research poster titled “Targeted Cholesterol Education for Community Pharmacists to Improve Star Ratings (choleSTAR),” at the annual Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) meeting in Baltimore, MD.

Mr. Wilson was part of the second class of PQA-CVS Health Foundations Scholars, and the first University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Pharmacy student to partake. Dr. Nancy Hart served as his mentor for the program and project.

Established in 2006, the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA) is a non-profit alliance with over 200 member organizations. It is a multi-stakeholder, consensus-based membership organization that collaboratively promotes appropriate medication use and develops strategies for measuring and reporting performance information related to medications.
