College of Pharmacy student Pallabita Chowdhury wins Biomaterials Day Poster Award

Pallabita Chowdhury, MS, a third year PhD student in the Department of Pharmaceutical Science, was named the winner of the Biomaterials Day Poster Award at Biomaterials Day on the campus of Vanderbilt University. She was selected to give a “Rapid Fire Talk” on her abstract titled “Docetaxel Loaded Magnetic Nanoparticles for Overcoming Drug Resistance in Prostate Cancer” and then presented her research at the Poster Session where she was awarded first position.
